This is the first entry of the non Silver Bullet Theory songs section. I hope we will come to play it eventually but at the moment it is merely, in my belief, a gem undiscovered. I can't tell you what it is about because honestly I do not know. I think i had written the majority of it while I was 16 and it holds some significance for me, dating around the time of the creation of Get Away and written in the same style.
She sat by the pool.
Legs sparkle in the night
His scars are visible to all.
Her perfection aids the fall
And her warmth baths in the flow,
Cold and harsh he stands in her glow,
And now further is the contrast,
He is now the unwanted past,
Now her voice stabs in the night
Her presence dividing the light,
He fights now to get closer,
Along the path to Formosa
And if he screams in the night,
There’s no one who will hear him,
He fights now to get closer,
Along the path to Formosa
Just to fall off the edge,
Fall off the edge again
She’s treading the water,
Its holy beneath her feet,
He sees his time is over,
But he can’t bear to be free
She slowly sinks in the darkness,
He fights an invisible tide,
All his lies spread out before him,
And now he has lost his bride
Now her voice stabs in the night
Her presence dividing the light,
He fights now to get closer,
Along the path to Formosa
And if he screams in the night,
There’s no one who will hear him,
He fights now to get closer,
Along the path to Formosa
Just to fall off the edge,
Fall off the edge again
