This song is very simple, but it has a power to it when I play it. In a similiar vein to "Path to Formosa" it was written again about the same time. Another one the band does not own as of yet.
Rising up from the stillness,
She walks down the hall,
The fridge is empty,
But plugged into the wall,
Double take at the clock,
6am isn’t easy,
Smell of garbage strokes the air,
And it’s making her queasy,
It can’t last much longer,
Soon it will stop,
She’ll have her way tonight,
She’ll stop the clock
Time creeps on slowly,
As useless as herself,
She can’t help screaming,
To the clouds for help
But no-one’s listening,
And she sinks to the floor,
She’s killing time tonight
But there’s always more
It’s just beyond her reach,
The light keeps teasing her
Tonight you can live or die,
Which do you prefer?
